• How long does it take for you to design and launch my website?

  Generally it takes about three workdays to produce an initial design once we receive a completed questionnaire, and then another two to three weeks to finalise it depending on the size and complexity, and how soon clients respond to our content and image requests if applicable. Finally, another two workdays to optimise everything and launch.

• How can I request edits to my website?

  You send an email to contact@webconduit.co.uk where we can read and fulfil them.

• Do you use any website builders?

  Nope! Everything we make is built with custom hand-written code. That is one of the things that separates us from the others—we put the time and effort to do things differently which is reflected in the quality of our work and the enhanced online presence our clients enjoy after launch.

• Why are the advantages of hand-coding over a website builder?

  Our websites are more secure, load faster, and are easier to maintain and customise. They also have lower costs and less bloat, since we don't rely on plugins for functionality. We never need to perform updates, unlike Wordpress sites which require constant updates to prevent hacking and redirects to malicious sites. Additionally, we are more responsive.

• Will you optimise my website for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?

  Yes and no. There are two sides to the SEO coin; On-page and Off-page. On-page SEO is everything ON the page like your content, performance, accessibility, etc. Off-page is everything OFF the site like guest posting, link building, citations, etc. We do some on-page SEO with our websites such as blistering fast load times, great accessibility, meta tags and sitemap generation. But that's not the whole story; Off-page SEO is an active and on-going process which we don't cover beyond setting up a Google Business Profile and Maps listing for you.

• What ongoing support do you offer after launching my website?

  It depends on which solution you choose. With our All-In-One Website Package we provide comprehensive ongoing support, which includes hosting and domain, security updates, unlimited backups and version recovery, unlimited edits, and I will dedicate a portion of time to you each month for any further consulting, support or extra development beyond the scope of your plan. We are always ready to assist you with any issues you may encounter post-launch, ensuring your site remains optimised and secure. This is all also available as an add-on to our Website Design and Development service.
  
  Our Website Management and Maintenance service is likely to be more limited depending on how familiar we are with how it was built.
